Car-Ride Confidence
Before our puppies go home, we introduce them to car travel through positive, age-appropriate outings. These early experiences help puppies become comfortable with movement, unfamiliar surroundings, and new adventures. While no program can guarantee a puppy will never experience motion sickness, early car rides can help reduce fear and make the journey to their new home feel less overwhelming.
Purposeful Play
Socialization is about much more than meeting new people. We make the most of our time with each puppy by providing purposeful activities that encourage confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Educational games, beginner fetch, problem-solving activities, and a variety of toys, sounds, surfaces, and textures help stimulate their developing minds and senses.
Noise Desensitization
Sound desensitization is often overlooked, but we believe it is an essential part of raising confident, well-adjusted puppies. Through gradual, positive exposure, our puppies become familiar with a wide variety of everyday sounds—including louder noises that may occur during holidays such as the Fourth of July and New Year’s Eve.
Crate Training
Crate training is one of the most valuable foundations we provide for both our puppies and their new families. It helps puppies develop confidence and independence as they prepare to leave their mother and littermates. It is also an important tool for establishing healthy sleep habits and successful potty-training routines.
Before going home, our puppies are comfortably sleeping through the night in their crates. This gives families a wonderful head start and helps make the transition into their new home smoother for both puppy and parent.
Every Streifeldoodles family also receives our comprehensive, proven potty-training guide when they reserve their puppy. This gives families time to prepare and provides simple, consistent steps for continuing the strong foundation we have already begun.
Puppy Culture and Early Neurological Stimulation
Our raising program incorporates training and developmental practices from Puppy Culture®, a comprehensive puppy-rearing and socialization program. This includes Early Neurological Stimulation, age-appropriate enrichment, confidence-building experiences, and thoughtful exposure to everyday sights, sounds, surfaces, and situations.
These intentional experiences are designed to support each puppy’s physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Our goal is to raise healthy, confident, well-adjusted puppies who are prepared to thrive in their new homes.
